Our story
A family farm that makes ghee the slow way.

Milkcrop started with our own herd of buffaloes and cows near Hyderabad. Every morning we deliver their fresh milk to families across the city.
Ghee is something we always made at home, the way it was made before us: set the milk as curd, churn it until the butter rises, and cook that butter slowly until it turns into clear, fragrant ghee. Friends and customers kept asking for a jar, so we started making it in small batches for everyone.
The ghee in your jar comes from our family farm's own animals. That is why our batches are small, and why we keep it simple: milk, time and care. Nothing else.
We had our ghee tested by an independent lab, and the reports are here for anyone to read.
